Zum Schiffchen

Dusseldorf's oldest restaurant is still a local favorite
Zum Schiffchen is Dusseldorf's oldest restaurant, having served a cavalcade of dignitaries (including Napoleon) and commonfolk in its 380 years. Today, it's still one of the best places in town for hearty local beerhall fare, accompanied, of course, by an Alt beer or two.
